I would’ve really liked the white “Nation of Millions” shirt with the giant P.E. crosshair logo on the back, but who’s choosing? The product description on this one is not to be missed.
If you can’t say anything nice… welcome home.

If you’re trying to figure out what the story is with the Aqua Teens’ Foreigner Belt, to whom can you turn>? Why, Foreigner Files dot com, of course.
This still doesn’t answer my “what’s that song I hear in the mall that samples ‘Urgent’” question, of course, but at least it settles one argument.
And the first blog this year to take off running with the gone to Epcot Center with Michael McDonald meme is U Mean Competitor.
First the U2 [X] Apple iPod, now the Gwen Stefani [X] HP camera.
Other musician-consumer goods collaborations I am also eagerly awaiting:
I still have yet to try the 50-Cent Vitamin Water, though.
Well, it looks like Sony and Apple are closely aligned on the Sound + Vision front. Apparently the PSP Video format is the Apple-embraced H.264 codec for video [scaled to the size of the fabulous PSP screen] with AAC sound.
It would be nice if Sony extends iTunes Music Store track compatibility to the PSP eventually. I love my iPod but it would be nice to have more options — especially if PSP games begin to support custom soundtracks like Xbox games do.
In unrelated news, artfahrt.com as well as Apple’s site show that Apple’s implementation of ZeroConf is no longer called Rendezvous, but… “Bonjour.” Well, I guess it’s one syllable shorter and it rolls off the tongue a little easier than “Rendezvous.” But it still sounds just as fruity. [I have been told that this was a legal issue. Wait, Apple backed down from a lawsuit? These Rendezvous guys must have a picture of Steve Jobs installing Windows or something.]
Well, that’s what I gather from this article. Michigan commerical radio — if you don’t like it, wait a few minutes — it’ll change.
And not a moment too soon, William Shatner’s magnum opus finally becomes available on the iTunes store.
Several Brasilian funk compilations in mp3 at Funky Do Morro. No, this is not some sort of cool, latin-flavored jazz, this is guys shouting in Portuguese over Miami Bass or Freestyle beats, and is oddly compelling if occasionally repetitive. And yes, this is the music that allegedly drives its teenage Brazilian fans to dancefloor gang wars.
I wish iTunes had this — the two free tracks make me want to apply for dual citizenship of the U.S. and the Zulu Nation. Will have to look for it in a “real store” the next time I have “real $.”
[UPDATE Jan 2004: The iTunes store got it a few weeks after I bought the CD. Bowmp bowmp got that vibe. Time to get live.]
